INITIAL MAIDEN RESOURCE AT SHOVELNOSE
• 841,000 Indicated ounces at 2.47 G/T gold equivalent
• 277,000 Inferred ounces at 0.94 G/T gold equivalent
• 95% Gold and 96% Silver recoveries in preliminary metallurgical test results, mineralization is non-refractory and amenable to recovery by a standard industry process flowsheet.
INITIAL MAIDEN RESOURCE AT SHOVELNOSE
HIGHEST GOLD & SILVER INTERCEPT EVER
The first major discovery by Westhaven was at their flagship property, the “Shovelnose”, in 2018. The bonanza grade intercept measured 17.77 metres of 24.50 g/t gold and 107.92 g/t silver as well as 46.20m of 8.95 g/t gold and 65.47 g/t silver.
That is a great start as drilling continues to hit in new areas including the highest grade gold-silver intercept ever on the property and probably the entire gold belt.
[Drill hole SN22-212] 23.03m of 37.24 g/t gold and 209.52 g/t silver including 1.12m of 294 g/t gold and 2,110 g/t silver
On January 17th of this year the company announced that it had drilled 6.20 metres of 73.51 g/t Gold within 12.00 metres of 39.42 g/t Gold at the Franz Zone. These results are significant because, in conjunction with previous drilling, they demonstrate the subsurface continuity of bonanza grade mineralization extending from immediately beneath the exposed bedrock outcrop to a depth of about 60m.
British Columbia is a tier 1 mining jurisdiction that has attracted some of the world’s biggest mining companies including Newcrest and Newmont. The company plans to advance exploration on all properties in 2023 with ~C$7 million cash from a recent financing package with Franco-Nevada, a very strong endorsement of our properties from one of the world’s best gold companies.
